Vinyl Siding End

J channel is used to finish off ends of vinyl siding.

J channel can be used just about anywhere as trim to hide the ends of vinyl siding.

Remember to leave room for the siding to expand and contract by cutting the siding slightly shorter but not to short that it will fall out of the j channel.

J Channel Around a Door

J Channel Around a Door

J channel is most commonly used to trim around a door or window.

Simply measure and cut to fit the opening.

I normally cut the ends at 45 degree angles around a corner. You should also cut the top piece of J channel with a tab that will overlap the vertical piece as to allow water to run down the J - Channel.
